Oversight above soil pipe - Shallow pipes and oversight....

Some friendly advice if I may ask, I am building a small porch, and it is being done under permitted development (although I have had planning for it in the past and a friendly BC officer has cast his eye over it anyway – I am a self builder).

1920s house in Oxfordshire. I have exposed a (live) clay soil pipe that has its crown approx. 350mm below finished floor height that is running underneath and across the floor area.

I am fine with the lintelling over the pipework as it enters/exits the walls.

I have – rightly or wrongly - undercut this pipe for the moment taking out the soil all around.

I need to ultimately put my concrete oversight on this. What layers, of what, and how deep, do I need to encase the pipe in to ensure the pipe is suitably protected and can continue to be in service for another 90 years?

Will the whole pipe – below and above – need to be encased in concrete?

Should that concrete layer be reinforced?

Should I half fill with pea shingle?

Do I need a blinding layer (sand) on the pipe before concrete?

Will my oversight (insulation/concrete) be OK to then go on top?

Any advice gratefully received!
