Hi, we recently put down some blue slug pellets and the blue dye has stained some areas of our brand new paving....we have tried jet washing, bleach (diluted and neat) and good old elbow grease but nothing is completely shifting it - does anyone have any advice on how to remove it without damaging the stone?
Thanks

If it is a copper staining usually a light blue, then Tensid do a copper stains remover, it is a poultice, very easy to use, you'd just need to thoroughly read the instructions, takes around 12-24 hours to work, do not get the product on your skin etc, as it is ammonia based. It's not cheap but it does work, I've used it, and have a load of copper stain removals to do, as soon as I can schedule them in.

Rust stain remover don't usually touch copper stains, even weak ones.Tony McC wrote:I think the blue colour originates with a copper-based dye so you may have some success with a rust remover.
As ever, test a small, discreet area before applying to a larger area, as some rust removers can be a tad aggressive.
