Framing and white stains - Can you help suggest how to clean it?

I’m hoping you can help me find something to remove some framing and white stains on an unsealed patio. Hubby has just laid it (1st time doing this) and we have a bit of framing and white stains on it. I want to clean it off before it’s sealed and filled. Has anyone any suggestions please? I can send photos of it but unsure how to attach them to this post.

We would need to know how the picture framing happened, so that means what type of flags have been used, and what has been used for the jointing?

Is the 'white stain' over all of the flags or just some and only in particular places?
