Brick pavers damp wall - Possible impact of new brick paving

I have had a new brick pavers path recently installed around my 1930s house. I am on a hill on Devon sandstone but overlaid with thick clay. I have noticed damp going up the wall in many places where the new path is against the house (fortunately stopped by damp course). The house is built of brick, the path has been correctly installed, it has been raining a lot recently! Do I need to worry or will it eventually resolve itself? I have not been able to find any advice on-line. Thank you.

Have they breached the damp course? Ideally around a house a gravel strip should be left in place. This would help if it can be reto fitted?

Could just be splash back from the rain hitting the pavingRedBridge31 wrote:No, brick pavers well below damp course. But worried as original house bricks were not brilliant quality and concerned that if remained wet that they would eventually disintegrate. Also sort of curious as to why it might be happening.
