Firstly, Great Site - Extremely Informative, Hi to all.

Could anyone tell me which method would be best to connect to my combined drain?

I have dug a 36' trench x 380mm wide (back from the main drain) and am installing a 80mm plastice perforated pipe.

How do I connect the plastic to the clay and is the use of a trap necessary, also (as an after thought) should I have sought anyones permissions to perform this or am I ok as its on my land?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Dave.

SW connections should be trapped before connecting to the Combined MH, assuming that's what the white rectangle on the LH side is.

Connecting clay to plastic is achieved via a special adapter coupling on sale at most decent BMs (and possibly Travis Bloody Perkins)
