can anyone tell me how far down a septic tank pipe will go across my garden? I am wanting to build an extension on the house but i think the drainage pipe crosses it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

See that piece of string over there? How long do you reckon it is?


The depth of any pipe depends on the site. It could be 450mm or it could be 4.5m - it all depends on the site.
