Depth of sharp sand for bedding

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi,

I’m using a dry mix of sharp sand with cement to lay my flags and I wanted to check how deep it should be? There will only be foot traffic over it.

40ml. You need a wettish mix really.
