Hi, New member but I've been 'lurking' (I think that's the correct description?) for quite a few weeks.
We have had a 20mm Silver granite patio laid, it's in 2 sections and totals a bit over 100m square. It wasn't on white cement/sand.
There are significant areas of discolouration, and neither the supplier nor the fitter are being much (for much, read any) help.
There are three major types - Rust, black spots and finally some grease from a BBQ. There is also a long, streak mark going across several slabs, so it must be from above.

I have a powerful jet washer, and that doesn't remove any of them.
It's only been laid since May, but it is getting us down so much we've even considered ripping it all up and starting again, but the cost is prohibitive.
Are there any cleaners I can buy and use myself (I'm reasonably handy), or specialist companies that could clean it and later seal it? I am in Loughton, Essex.
Thank you all.ImageImage

Thank you, I am beginning to suspect we have a bad delivery of granite. I hope Roger sees this then!

Any ideas what caused the rust marks?, also the blacks spots? does this look like Lichen?, I wouldn't have thought it was seeing as the paving has only been down since May, not really down long enough and the weather hasn't been that damp to cause this. As for the BBQ stain, this should come out, but you might be left with a shadow how long as the stain/grease been on the surface.

Could you email me the photos so I can enlarge them please.

Thanks, I've emailed you about 12 pictures.
We are led to believe that the rust MAY be oxidisation coming up through the stones? No idea about the black marks. Grease/oil stain is about 7-10 days old.
Thanks again
