Hi, I had an Indian stone patio laid two years ago, edged to the grass with Indian setts and resin jointed, this year the edge is starting to fall away and huge cracks appearing in the jointing compound, any ideas why this has happened and how to fix thanks

I suspect the edging have been laid on the bedding and haunched with same material. Edges should be laid on a concrete bed and haunched to stop migration of the flags.

Thanks, that sounds right as I’ve lifted the edging and it’s bedding has cracked away from the bedding under the main slab, so basically the best way to fix is to do it again, properly?
