Thank you for this wonderful site.
I want to hard landscape an area approx 11m x 5m in my garden and my preferred surface, aesthetically, is self-binding gravel (which I have never used before). But part of this area must be a solid base for a 3m x 4m timber storage shed for my ride-on and other tools and I'm wondering if this self-binding gravel is solid enough? I know it can be used for driveways/cars but can't find any information about it being used as a base for a shed/cabin.
If necessary, I could put paving stones under the new building - possibly inset into the gravel? - but I would much prefer a smooth contiguous top surface across the whole area.
Thank you for any help.
Self-binding gravel load-bearing?
