Bedding layer

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hello, I intend to use a bedding layer 40mm of sand/cement at 10:1 on top of compacted hardcore. The area is 32m2. My question is will I have to lay the slabs onto the bed layer straight away? I am working by myself and I am not sure I will be able to complete in one go. Would it be possible to lay a bedding layer of say 30mm one weekend and then the following weekend individualy bed slabs onto 10mm.

Just lay out as much bedding as you can cover in an hour or so. There's no need to mix all the bedding in one go.
