We have just had a new patio laid (with Easyjoint pointing) and have been advised to seal it /impregnate it. The information available seems like a mine field. We don't want to keep doing it every few years, we would like to keep it as clean as is possible for as long as possible (ie..dirt doesn't stick). We dont want it glossy... We don't mind it dropping a shade. Does anyone have any advice/ experience on what would work best? Would be very grateful for any advice. Many thanks in advance.

Lithofin MN stainstop and dry treat are both products I have used with great results
however whatever you use,you will still need to clean the patio from time to time
and with sealers,no sealer is better than a cheap sealer
if its a decent installation it needs to be left for 2-3 months at least before sealing

Thank you so much for the quick response - LLL.
Will check it/them out. I understand that we will have to clean the patio (but just as little as possible).. Happy to pay for the best product. Yes - it was done late last year - so will have to clean it before we seal/impregnate. Waiting for the warm dry weather..
