Macadam drive - Question

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I take it these scuffs appeared during warmer weather? The driveway surface and finish looks good. I would simply avoid turning on the new surface in hot weather.....if it were me I'd advise a dusting of bit-grit in the meantime. I don't think you have grounds for not fit for purpose.
