Hi,
Just about to finish my 25m2 raised sandstone patio that has free edges. Thinking I was being expedient and not wanting to point myself, I purchased a couple of tubs of 'grey' Jointex to apply wet and sweep in as per instructions....however I hadn't quite thought about how I would deal with the edges as the overhang is about 5cm and clearly sweeping Jointex into the gaps at the edge will just fall through to the ground.
I think I read somewhere that if it were mortar pointed you could use tape to seal off the edge/underneath of the free edges however, being that it is meant to be applied, or I was going to apply, Jointex 'wet', what are my options? If I use tape and then wet the area then I am guessing it will undermine the adhesion of the tape and/or well up with water...
Thanks
Dan

One trick that LLL adopts is to use modelling clay to seal the underside and free edge so you can the point. I think I may nick some of my daughters plasticine next time to see if that does the trick

Lutonlagerlout, is this the stuff:

The screwfix/toolstation aluminium tapes like above work out cheaper than gorilla tape coverage-wise!
Thanks
