Hi all - Advice please

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Great forum, {do I get a medal ?} spent most yesty snooping @ posts
Long or short version ? I'll go for halves : Just finished doing a bathroom { I'm on a corner plot } and the fella across the road decides to put a clear double window in, {promises he'll wear dark glasses when he's watching me} so I goes off to the tree shop, and cant find anything instant 20 foot evergreen - however I did come back with a bush thing for my front garden, because when I get out of my car, a pampas rips me to shreds {ref^^new bush thing} - house opposite has a clear viewing gallery too :/ so one problem sort of down, and the other to go..........seeing as I'm now going to demolish my front garden, I was chatting to the fella in the notatreeshop, and he says get a asphalt drive ????????????????
kk I got a double driveway in tarmac, inc two 3x2 YeUk slab runs ? {footpath to front door} total area *approx 21' long x 11' wide.

What do I want ? Kill the pampas, get rid of the slabs & probs rob another 3 foot off my garden & resurface the whole lot in ReD tarmac.

{Whole close is dropped curbs, so no bumping my car over ...................anyone heard any latest on this gummint revalue house thing ?? I'll see if I can find the forum If i'm allowed to post the site - just, I had a few probs with them across the road blocking my drive, so I searched googlie for dropped curbs - these peeps say If your drive can accomodate X vehicles, they going to bump up your rates ??? Well I'm a blonde, and I park my car <<<<<<that way>>>>>>}

Back to :
I'm assuming I cant afford block paving - because I'll have to continue it round the side of my house & the back, so a sort of compromise of what I could get away with, is the help I'm asking for, and a not a "travelling" person to do the job

Ohh and a 20' tree, if anyones got a spare one ;) and that grass edging stuff to the boss man if you havnt had any takers ?

nite all

Think it's more likely to come in tablet form.
Great bit of writing Mercedes - think you should post a weekly diary column - can't wait for next instalment - tree & dodgy neighbour adventure.......

Now now boys, I did the best I could with a litre of bacardi inside me :D
caught flaming pneumonia this afty, {so am back on the medicine - well, it is Friday night} taking a temp dog for a walk down the canal, while her mum is in Vegas. *Might get to plant the bush thing on Sunday, if I'm still alive, but my drive.....well I havnt found a red tarmac shop yet.
p.s
The perv was flashing last night - NoT a pretty sight LOL ~ bring on the tree

oh & Berlusconi for P.M , come on you Italians ! - Whats that got to do with drives, trees and pervs ? nowt. I just like a man that if he cant get a result, he {allegedgly} shoots them :cool: Doh, was just on the news, not that he does actually shoot them so my Italian neighbour tells me, he just likes violins.

@ Sug, quite like the idea of a weekly column, will have to move me out of this room though {boss might be watching :0}

Who is The Boss......you speak of ?
Think next week's instalment should appear in "The Craic" - we don't want to upset the sixth floor -
Yours, Suggs.

I can't follow all this stream of unconsciousness stuff - it's like Joyce's Ulysses, but making less sense!
