Floating slabs contempory patio - Has anyone had one of these to do??

HI.
Been renovating a house and made it all open plan etc. Now its time for the patio. It is extension of kitchen all one level with large sliding doors. I would like a rectangle pund with water feature coming out of wall . Some of the pictures of this kind of thing have slabs in the middle which look like there floating on the water.
My question is , is this hard to achieve and how do you go about it?

The 'floating slabs' actually sit on brick pillars built onto the base of the pond.
