Hello,

I have now laid my slabs for a aptio 3.3m x 3.3m. The patio slopes away from the house (starts 1 mtr from house) into the grass which is higher. I am going to dis a 150mm gap and then edge the front with a railway sleeper to hold the turf back. This will compliment three others I have used on the sides.
This would be a good opportunity to put decent drainage in. What do you recommend. I believe there is a plastic 4" underground drain that runs within 500mm of the edge of the patio and I guess this must soak away up the top of the garden (it is a fairly modern house with no exposed drains). What would you recommend as the best option to take surface water away?
