Hi there

Had some Indian sandstone laid 6 weeks ago and unfortunately it has some terrible discolouring rust like marks come up but not sure what it is.

The guy that laid it kept it v.clean whilst laying so sure it's nothing he has done.

Any suggestions?

There's something very wrong there.

Some of the rust marks *may* be natural iron mineralisation, but there are other marks that indicate there is something wrong with the bed and or the jointing material and the way in which it was applied.

I can't really comment more than that from the photies. This would need further, on-site examination to determine just what has happened.
