i have just laid my edging coarse on min 100mm concrete whitch is solid BUT they can be lifted up not side -side, is this ok & will the pavers & filling sand hold them in place, :(

No problem if the edge blocks don't bond to the concrete bedding. As long as they cannot be forced downwards or outwards (spread), then they will be fine.
