Did anyone see that photo floating round other week. Old bill pulled a tranny the said grossed around 8t. Surely that can't be right?! I don't know what was on the back but it wasn't overflowing. Heaviest I've gone over has been around .5t

i got in an argument with an idiot about it could easily be 8ton gross was up over the sides of the body about 4m3 of sand at 1.6-1.8 tons a cube then the weight of the vehicle and tools

if you are loading with as dug soil etc no way to really tell without onboard weighing, i know driving 7.5 tonners when you got get 3 ton of lose aggregate on the back its nothing
