Tarmac patch repair

there was mention some years ago on here of a tarmac patch repair product. Any ideas of what it was called? going to need to quote for patching a car park that will have to be trafficed almost immediately!
Was thinking about just buying some loose tarmac, but may be more problematical

I s'pose it depends on the amount you need and depth. There is of course good old cold lay bags. I remember Simeon had a repair kit that he was trying to market ( what ever happened to Simeon ? ) anything bigger the likes of Dave L can give you more info'.

Simeon was a very naughty boy and had to go away. The company he once managed is still in business, so I have to be careful what I say.

However, there is an abundance of repair macadams on the market just now, ranging from the very good Highways Agency approved standard right through to packs of cut-back mac off the shelf in a DIY shed.

I would bite the bullet and get it prepped and buy a tonne of the real deal Dan,I have used the instarmac stuff and although better than the cold bags still not great long term

Now evening getting lighter etc can't you just do it out of hours? I'd do it properly like Tony said or sub in some lads with a hot box wagon. I've use the instamac stuff but only on small holes like 100x100mm max

I used bags of cold lay on my drive years ago. Some holes where large and deep. I dug out old, tack coated with bitumen and built up on layers, lasted me the 10 years i was there and is still there 3 years later, not sunk or broke yet.
Only used hand pummel to compact.
