Grano dust and pointing

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Just wondered if anyone's has ever used grano dust for a pointing mix and if it was a success or not?

It's OK for wide joints, but, depoending on just how dusty it is (proportion of fines) you may need to add a portion of soft/building sand to get a good bond.
