It may well be worth committing yourself to the product this year, imported natural stone is set to increase in the region of 12-16% in 2017 due shipping costs and the exchange rate, Strata Stone have already implemented their increase as of the 1st of December 16. you'll also find a lot of retailers will have winter deals on too so you could save your self up to 25%, and on an average patio size, that's saving a good few hundred beer tokens!

or you could save 100% and not get it done ;-)
joking aside material costs are going up in every building sphere, even local stuff is going up due to fuel costs
however long term I believe the decision was the correct one

steel has gone up £168 a tonne already this year, timber 10% increase

PIR board 10-12% increase

we made our bed ,now we get to lie in it

A very good tip Tom, we hope those added costs do not put off customers or it's bad news for everyone in the Construction Industry

We've crunched our numbers and we're looking at a small increase in 2017 to cover currency. Its nowhere near 12-16% though, nowhere near!

Where has that figure of 12-16% come from Tom?

Hi Steve, we purchase stone from roughly 10 of the major uk stone importers

The smallest increase we've seen is 10% the largest is 17%

Cheers
