I've fixed your image problems, if your question is what can be done with my concrete drive break it up and relay it with some drainage and a brushed finish

Hi and thanks for sorting out my pictures. I'd given up. Well here goes for the questions. As you can see the current driveway is in need of replacing. I've been given enough block pavers to cover this area so I'm going to give it a go. Ideally I would like the edge restraints right up to the house wall which would mean getting rid of the shingle filled trench. Anyone see any problems with this? Also when the driveway leaves the house, you can see the current driveway is a bit higher, if I wanted to keep the edge restraints at the same level as the ones along the side of the house, could I just re-profile that section of the drive and haunch them. So many questions and I hope it makes sense. Thanks again. John.

Hi. This photo probably hasn't come out as I'm useless at posting pictures but if it has, this is how it's going so far. Still a long way to go but following this site to the letter and asking questions on here I'm confident I can do this. Just taking my time and thankfully have a patient wife. Hope to be posting more pictures for those who are interested.
