6/1 MIX is not permeable, who told you that azpects, as LLL said. laid on a solid be with fall water will not run through the patio, where in the marshalls instruction for weather point does it say free drain laying course for weather point to cure the wetter the better and can be used in rain ,
with a wet bed that dont happen. MSH

azpects,
your calculator is telling me i only need 1 tub for a 30sqm 900x600 flags with a joint 25mm deep and 10mm wide.
That can't be right when the tub is only 12.5kg!?
when i look at other brands coverage i estimate i need at least 2 perhaps 3 x 25kg tubs...

i would say 3- 4 12.5 kg tubs
reckon around 7m2 per 12.5kg on 900 by 600s

I agree with Tony and msh. A wet 6 to 1 mix is not going to be permiable.
Was the weatherpoint compacted in to the joints properly or just brushed in and left?
There is no way the underside of the joint will stay damp indefinitely even with no fall.

i brushed in then used a pointing tool to shape more than to compact.

Thanks LLL, sounds more like it.

Still, if i manage to find a paddle mixer i am tempted to go the fully monty and use the 2-product mix (vdw 800 or 850)

decision decision :-)

You can buy paddle and adaptor for an sds drill, that is what i use.

A normal drill and paint mixer will not be up to the job.

I'm getting 4 tubs with the same measurements, I don't know what has gone wrong there?
