Binned the idea of gravel patio, missus doesn't like the idea of our daughter eating the stones and of course the probable mess.

So, yorkstone it is. 25 m2 needed, new, preferably cut to same depth and riven.

Any recommendations on retailers in South Manchester / Cheshire areas.

Try Acorn Stone in Ramsbottom or Kerridge Stone near Bollington - they both sell what is vernacularly known as yorkstone - a Pennine namurian grit.

Sorry I should have made that clear, I thought mr hell boy would struggle to find calibrated British Yorkstone so I suggested alternatives which would be in the form of quality reproductions or imported sandstone.
