How many manhole covers

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

i have just removed old patio paving only to fine one main manhole cover buried under and another smaller 350mm round one 1.5 meters from large one , Do i need to have the smaller one as well ?
thanks , thinking my patio be full of recesed man hoe covers !

Any manholes, inspection chambers should be visible not buried. Could be the large one is foul and the smaller shallow ic might be storm water. What idiot buried those ???

So, just to clarify, you have covers over covers on one chamber, and then a separate, smaller chamber 1.5m away?

You need ONE cover over each, and the cobver should suit the chamber size.
