To cut a long story short (again),
I need to connect a 110mm solid plastic drain pipe into a 68mm gutter downpipe.
I bought a "polypipe underground drain 110mm rainwater adapter 68mm x 110mm" it doesn't fit, not even close.
Can anyone suggest a solution or component to buy?
Am I missing something really obvious???
I have a few builders merchants nearby so if someone can recommend what to buy I should be able to hunt it down.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Thank-you for helping.

You may need a collar. Can you post a picture or a link to what you have bought

you need a collar as dylan says ,a lot of drainage is like this, you can also get rubber downpipe to 110mm plastic underground pipe connectors that fit inside the pipe

Is it the universal flexible rubber? If so it will fit, you need to grease the 68 ml pipe push the little hole onto it and pull it down over the 110 ml pipe. I know it doesn't look like it will fit but it will.
