Can anyone help me please. I spilt some lawnsand on my sandstone patio slabs and it has stained them in a rather unsightly orange colour. I've tried power washing and also brick cleaner but the stains won't budge.
Any magical ideas please?
Many thanks

You need a specialist rust remover like Lithofin bero or weiss rci

It's not rust as such, it's the phosphates that have discoloured the paving, I use Tensid's Limestone restorer for these stains, only problem you have is you also need a floor cleaning/buffing machine with the right pads or brushes. How big an area is stained as you can do this by hand but might take some time.

Here is a before and after of a sandstone that had lawnsand stains I cleaned earlier this year. Total area was around 50 square metres
