I have a new 25msq drive going in, I will be putting two cells in under the drive or maybe to the side.

Trouble is If its to the side it'll be 3.5-4.5m from the house and against a wall. If under it'll be 5m away but near a wall, a fence boundary and circa 3m from a road!

Can I still use this method?

Cheers,

Paul.

The 5 metre rule is building regulations . Its not always possible to follow them to the letter. Your house is the most important put it near the road :)

Thanks Hairs,

Here's the site plan showing brick walls and house.

Hatched area the driveway and lower section is entrance, 2-3m then road. I've marked two locations for the cells. what would be best practice you think?

I'd always try and put the cell out of the trafficked area if possible, so the wall area gets my vote
