Think it goes to just over a metre, max 150kg

great bit of kit how does it compare to the vacuum lifters?

Never used the vacuum lifter. Got a job laying 70 concrete greys in a month or two so see how it goes. Won't be as good as vacuum as your grabbing on the side leaving a gap of 10mm you have to bump. Up.
Should be great as a universal grab though with lots of attachments available.

that was the only issue I came across the last time we used a mechanical lifter
seen the pics you posted on ceforum it looks like a well made piece of kit
was that extra quoted price of 550 if you wanted to get the thin plate to set kerbs and slabs like in the video?

Thats handy especially on those sleepers. I presume you piped into the crowd ram for the rotate?

It's a good bit of kit. Yes I piped it up to the crowd ram. I payed 500, had to travel to south Wales though, but the sister in law is down there. It's probably only done 100 hrs if that..
Laying the 2x2 flags probably paid for it.
Picked and Loaded 80-90 flags on one job and layed on another, never handled hardly any.probably don't lay them any quicker but a one man job and your not fooked at the end of the day.

A vaccum slab lifter is great on a digger, as you can but the flags up, but you have to keep jumping off the seat to un attach it and re attach. Your grab works well, but you cannot butt joint them, thats the one down side

You can either drop them the thickness of the slab or lay them 10mm away and Bumb them up.
