Hi guys

I have an outdoor tap outside the backdoor, it gets alot of use and I live in a hard water area and over the years where it has ran onto the patio it has left what I can describe as limescale/white water marks on the indian sandstone and surrounding black brickwork.

Ive read that acid is a definite no no on indian sandstone so what can I use to get rid of the white haze?

Speedy Clean have a cleaner that is claimed to be non-acidic, but they really mean that it doesn;t have any of the 'strong' acids normally used to remove cement, lime and/or calcium carbonate (which is what you have).

It might be worth a try, but test it in a discreet corner first - Speedy Clean
