Years ago I remember watching a TV series about a plant hire firm. There was some dodgy dealing and I seem to remember a piece with a meeting in a quarry.
In another there was a sale of plant.
Does anyone remember the name of this series? Or have I just made it all up. It had the feel of a poor follow up to the Boys from the Blackstuff.

Think it was earlier than that - maybe 1980/90s. It wasn't a documentary but a story - "Minder in the North" kind of thing. In those days I was working for the Plant Hire Division of one of the big building firms writing a system for invoicing plant customers and recording assets so I found it interesting. (The whole building/plant thing was new to me. I'd worked in manufacturing before.)
