Hi,
I want to lay a loose stone driveway, approximately 75ft by 8ft on ground that tends to pool when raining. If I lay a sub-base with a membrane, topped with small stones, not gravel, will it drain, rather than pool on the surface?
Sorry for any naivety, as I'm new to this.

You will need to put a filter drain along the edge of your driveway and it should be ok.
