Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi, I've just moved and want to put gravel on an existing driveway which is currently part york stone paving, which is in disrepair due to heavy loads / work being done, and a small part is turf. I live near Slough UK. I need to know the following.
1. How much gravel would be required for approx 300m square area?
2. Will 10mm gravel size be sufficient?
3. Who is the best value supplier in my area?
4. What is the best method for preparing the surface for the gravel?
Thanks
Andy
