Hi guys,
At what point do you guys stop laying slabs in the rain?
Do you have any advice for slabbing in the rain and keeping cement stains away?
If staining happens any tips to get rid of it - natural stone so brick acid probably a recipe for disaster.
Thanks Andy

best not to work in proper rain andy
ground work is ok but not laying
obviously we all get caught sometimes but if possible cover up the work with polythene
I know cookie uses a huge gazebo to work in the rain
if you get stains immediate clean water and a soft brush is the best way to wash off
cheers LLL

On the subject of mortar stains, we have a product for that
http://azpects.co.uk/products/easy-mortar-stain-remover.aspx
Unlike brick acid, it's designed to be as ecofriendly as possible without hindering it's effectiveness
It will also remove the white calcium based deposits on walling (limescale essentially)

Always do a test Andy.
Prevention is better than cure. As LLL said clean water and a soft brush better than getting the chemicals out.
