Hello nice to meet you all thought I would introduce myself.
I'm building a WEKA Brilion log cabin and need some honest advice on the concrete base as I know limited amount on concrete, sand, costs and amounts.
The area is 24 Sqm total area (18'4 X 14'1) and need some costings on this if I was to do it myself.

Got some questions if anyone can help.?
When should I start on this project as I'ts still cold in Jan?
How many bags of cement and sand would I need to a depth of 150mm, if I need this depth because I really don't have a clue about grades of concrete guys?
I have a red bricks for Core how smashed up do they need to be used as core?
Do I need a metal mesh to reinforce the cement?
Where does the membrane go between core and cement or just concrete to base?
How long does it take to cure?
What type of cement mixer should I hire and is a skim floater needed here as it's being used as a foundation?
Cheers for any help in answers guys

Yes sorry I was looking for stickies but most answers are on the front page Sorry for the basic questions not used to seeing this layout on a forum.
I'll go and do the research!
cheers!
Clarification:
Assumptions:
5.6MX4.3M on a depth of 70mm of core and 80mm of cement.
Total area is 24sq meters is about 2 Cubic meter's in volume.
640KG cement
1240KG Sand
2340KG Gravel
600 litres of water
@ 40KG a bag of cement roughly 16 bags.
Will this be enough cement to cover air gaps between the Core and surface? C20 cement.
