Flat surface of concrete - How to achieve it?

I want to produce (in plastic moulds ABS) concrete slabs. Unfortunately, the surface of my slabs is shiny. I've seen slabs, aslo produced in such moulds, but they were flat.
Is there a way to achive the flat effect?

The interior surface of your moulds dictates the finish of your slabs - if they are shiny, you will get shiny slabs.
