Hi.

I plan on using MOT Type 1 as my base to my new patio, I've recently taken up an old concrete shed base and have various pieces of concrete that I'm looking to lose, anyone see any reason why I cant lose this as part of the new patio base, putting the MOT type 1 inbetween the concrete pieces and then using a wacker plate to compact it all down ? Looking to impact the MOT to 90mm.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You really need to crush the concrete pieces rather than try to fill round them with mot, or you can bet differential settlement.
Either skip them and use mot, or crush them and mix it in for best results
