Hi there,
I am doing my front garden and I started once I have completed the quantity of pavers needed which totals 42sqm. Different colours from diffeernt sellers. That's not so bad, but I just realised their spacers lugs are position differently, which means, when you put two together the lugs are up against each other. How to best make use of all the bricks? I was thinking to separate the two in two areas with a border between them and lay them all in 45 herringbone pattern, but then there is the colour mixing as well. Any options would be very much appreciated. Many thanks,
Florin

you can nick the lugs off with a decent brick hammer (estwing)
or use a grinder to smooth them off
ballbreaker whatever way but do not lay lug against lug

Don't you just rotate the paver 180 degrees?

The only way to do it without touching the lugs is to lay them upside down.
Works with certain rumbled paving not so much with 200x100s.
