I'd like to use a resin slurry to point my wet cast patio, as it looks so easy, but there are several marks (including some rubber mallet bruises) that I DON'T want to be sealed in.
Cleaning these types of slabs seems to be full of warnings. Don't press too hard when brushing, don't use a pressure washer, don't use chemicals... The videos I've seen regarding slurry pointing makes it look easy, but it's bound to seal the slab surface too and anything on it...right?
Should I just use a semi dry sand/cement mix, even though it will take longer, then once the slab surface has 'weathered', use a standard sealer to protect it all?
