I've got a paslode IM90 which I use for feather boarding but I'm looking around for a coil nailer to attach to my compressor for workshop use.

Basically need something that will fire shorter than 50mm nails and could do with not having to buy gas. Also, the coil nails are £100 ish for 17,000 nails WTF lol.

Any recommendations. It's for making gates and stuff so needs to fire half heads or whatever they're called. My paslode doesn't fire less than 50mm which is just slightly too long. Could do with 38-45mm.

I've just bought one of these. I haven't used it yet so i don't know how good it is. The balance feels a bit weird. A bit cheaper here : www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Dewalt Dpn64C Xj 5902013950929

Got an unicatch unc70 will do 45mm - 70mm nails. mine is fairly used but still coping well. Air coil guns are brilliant can fire out a load of nails before it even starts to break a sweat . the only pain is having to drag around a compressor and at times a generator too to power it, clarke make a portable petrol powered air compressor where the frame is the tank but they are alot of money
