We a currently carrying out some tarmac work at a large residential property & the homeowner has asked us to install a large indian stone patio. We don't really do flagging so were thinking of subbing the work out. Does anyone have any rough idea of price so we know what prices we should expect & to give the client an idea of cost, the area is 180sqm grass with easy access, many thanks John.

I am not sure of the exact cost in Leeds but in the South you would be looking at an all in cost of probably £100 per m2 + the cost of the stone. Would be less up North.
There are plenty of contractors on this forum who are based in the North and they are all top notch.
As regards to the cost of the stone itself it can vary from £12+ per m2 up to £25+ per m2. Its always advisable to buy it from a company where you can see the stone before you buy. Whether thats laid out on the floor or even just in the crates.
Be wary of stone priced at the lower end, service and quality can suffer. Also be wary of eBay, you will find it cheap on their but again the quality can vary wildly
