After many a search of the main site I am still struggling with working out how much pointing to order. It seems the single component mixes are out (poor lifespan). Can't seem to get hold of weather point so thinking I will use rompox d1 IF i can shoulder the cost. I have laid 55 m2 of calibrated Indian sandstone random patten. There were 4 sizes of slab. All the online calculators I found are for single size projects. Is there a way to calculate for this type of layout please? Another concern is joint depth. A lot of manufactures specify a 30mmjoint depth. I only have 22 (calibrated thickness). Does the 30mm only apply to the minimum 6mm joint width? Will I be ok @ 22mm depth as my joints are around 12mm. Sizes and quantise of slabs are
17pcs 290mm x 290mm
17pcs 600mm x 290mm
17pcs 600mm x 600mm
16pcs 600mm x 900mm
If I compromise and 400x400 into the online calculator for d1 at the depths and widths I have said it says I need 2.8 containers so 75 kg. does this sound about right?
Many thanks for any guidance.

Thank you LLL Sounds likely. What do think about joint widths/depths. Will I be ok with 22x12 do you think. Also when I laid the last lot it was raining, I used a bond bridge but had To go on them sooner than I liked to clean up and had to rinse them off. They all seem stuck apart from one but on some when I press the corner there is slight perceptible /flex movement. I'm thinking of syringing a slurry of opc and sbr into and hopefully under these slabs. Would this work? Don't won't to pull up otherwise stuck slabs.
Many thanks john.

Right then the rocking slab has been lifted and relaid. The others that had some flex at the odd corner have firmed up. So all seems well. One last point to clarify if someone can advise on the suitability of the joints I have for rompox d1. It seems unclear if the minimum 30mm deep joint is only required at the minimum width on 3mm. If so and my joints are wider (12mm ish) can the depth reduce? My slabs are 22mm so the maximum depth I have is 22. Do not fancy spending £300 odd if it won't work. Has anyone used d1 at these depths please?
Many thanks john.
