Putting in a driveway at home, we are on clay and prone to flooding so using permeable sub base and surface.
Need to source Type 3 but there seems alot of confusion about this stuff.
We are using gravel stabilization.
What size do the particles need to be?
Depth required?
Compaction?
Suppliers in NW Kent?
Thanks for any help!

On a clay subgrade Tony is spot on. I have a lot of experience with permiable paving and IMHO it is pointless on a domestic drive but a brilliant idea for big car parks or roads where the water can be harvested and used for anything other than drinking.
Apart from the additional installation cost it doesn't look very nice.
