Understand it will come off stone easy enough ... how about the paviors which have open coarse texture ... does it wash off those OK ?lemoncurd1702 wrote:You don't need to kneel with brush in grouts unless you strike with a pointing tool.
I have used weatherpoint with a band of coarse textured (Marshalls Drivesett Argent) and plenty of water rinses it off. Any residue can be scrubbed of with a stiff bass brush when dried.
Looking for good paving contractor - Re-pointing job

The good thing about weather point is that there is no cement in it so it will not leave any per man at stains on anything however if it isn't rinsed off thoroughly the residue from the resin will leave temporary surface staining but I do mean temporary as in 8 to 10 weeks at the most.
As lemoncurd says, on the textured paving use plenty of water to rinse it or even a pressure washer as long as your careful.

Rick,
Click Here type your postcode to find your nearest Marshalls installer. I've heared good about the second on the list and the fifth.
I used the Towers postcode so you should get the same list.
Those guys should know if weatherpoint is suitable or not.
Shame you hadn't posted earlier. I've been passing Jersey Marine everyday for the past 3 months working in The Mumbles but finished Friday. I could have popped in to take a look. Won't miss that trek for sure

weatherpoint and similar polymeric/resin based jointing products comes off the surface of granite which has a flamed finish and argent light which is a shot blasted finish and deeper on the surface, you just have to spend more time completing the process on a 45 degree angle to the joints using either a soft brush head or a medium bristle brush head depending on the brush stroke action as that varies with each contractor and what he prefers to use to complete the work and clean off the surplus
its nothing special as the brushes can be purchased from most builder merchants
