Black limestone patio

In July 2013 I had a new patio laid in black limestone, had I known of the problems I would of used another colour, however I am stuck with it. The contractor who did the job suggested it should be sealed using Drytreat Enhance Plus, this was applied immediately after the patio was laid, it looked great for a few weeks then it faded to a light grey blotchy colour.
I left it until June last year when I applied 2 coats of Romex Colour Enhancer, again looked fantastic just what I was looking for. I was fully aware that it would need repeat treatment about every 3 years.
However I am now back to square one with a grey blotchy patio.
Do you think if I apply another coat of Romex it would now stay black for a couple years? if not any suggestions would be welcome.

DC I would say 1:2 problem questions on this forum relate to black/light grey limestone
the other 1:2 relate to sealants

so you have a nap hand
contractors like black limestone because it is cheap
clients like the black look in the showroom
if you want black to stay black slate is the one

If you could post a photo or 2 on here so I can see the problem. For Black Limestone, you do unfortunately have to re-seal every year sometimes, one of the problems you might have now is using 2 different sealers, The dry-treat (which is a good product) could be thinking the rompox is a stain/spillage so is not letting it through. Once you start sealing and you have used a decent sealer you really should stick with that one. Who has done the sealing? you or a contractor? Also from what you have said you sealed as soon as it was laid? you have 2 choices either pre-seal before laying or leave the paving after it has been laid for say 3-6 months to weather then clean & seal then so sealing that quick can give you problems, pointing may have not cured so damp is giving you the "blotchy" effect as you could have sealed some dampness in. Anyway as i said photos would help.
