I want Pac man to win. He's a legend.

Gonna get flamed for this but Tyson IMO "at his best" was the best boxer ever. I wouldn't have cussed with him if I had a machine gun.

I thought the same until I watch a program about boxing through the ages and Ali put Tyson to shame when he was at his best

Ali vs Tyson would be a tough one to call.
Ali struggled against peek a boo fighters in the same way Tyson struggled against tall fast opponents.
Ali was without question a better boxer.

tactically yeah Ali was a better boxer. I should have really said Tyson was the most formidable boxer at his best. Ali had a greater repetoir and varied style, Tyson was all about hitting and tight up close ducking and weaving.

Put in another way. If I had a gun to my head and had to make a choice who to fight, it would be Ali. I just think Tyson had the greater speed and power and probably fitness. His training regime was excellent with Cus D'amato.

Also, bear in mind his first 19 pro fights he won them ALL by knock out. 12 in the first round. He was flipping brutal.

If don't think he was as formidable as George Forman.

12 round snoozefest where Pacquiao landed 7 punches a round and Mayweather 10. Mayweather should have been confident in his abilities and came out to win the fight. This should have been the fight that saved boxing.

Judges shouldn't be so quick to reward running away, clinching and headlocks. Referees need to start intervening too.

As for Tyson - Ali... Ali had a good chin and better cardio but Tyson was vicious. 20 fights in 6 months, all ending in knockout within 90 seconds. Ali has also said that Tyson would beat him - and he was never known for being humble

tyson is my favourite boxer
fight was ok at times really hoped it would have picked the pace up in the last round but mayweather knew he had done enough
12 rounds is not enough judges decisions is a terrible way to finish what should have been a brilliant fight

disappointed that manny tried the old injury excuse afterwards

its notable for me that mayweather only wanted to fight him after he met him at a basketball match

they claim 1 1/2 inch height difference but mayweather looked a much bigger man

rest assured we wont see mayweather fighting any natural punchers at welter I.E> khan or brook

the art of boxing is to hit without being hit and he has done that most of his career
but its not exciting to watch

I got to the fight before, around 4.15AM and had to get a taxi back to the hotel.

10 hours of punishment drinking had taken their toll.....

LLL :)

I never drink these days. Unless I drink all the time I suffer way more having the odd 3 or 4 pints. Just destroys me.

anyone see golovkin vs monroe
20th straight KO what a shame he doesnt have any outstanding middleweights to fight

you can imagine the judges beforehand "no need for the scorecards tonight, lads"

GGG has been the uncrowned 2nd best pound for pound boxer for around 3 years that nobody has heard of

love to see him in the ring with mayweather ,but pretty boy wouldnt chance it
