Block paving - Old and new style marshall blocks

I have an 8 year old driveway made from Marshalls tegular traditional blocks.
I have had it extended but I did not know they had changed the block style slightly.
The new blocks also are far brighter than the old one and do not look like an extension but like another block set!!
will they weather in or is there anything I can do?

I jet washed the old ones as a one off to try and brighten them up but it only made a slight improvement.

As a amendment I would like to clarify as my post may be a little misleading!!! the driveway has not been lengthened but extended to the side of the house. there is now a layer of old pennant grey edge blocks where the old drive ended then a black water drain running the whole length, then a 'new pennant grey edge block leading into the new area.
The new blocks after that are then laid in a different direction to the old ones.
so the two different areas have a natural break, making it not as stark a distance!
My question really was will the new blocks dull down over time obviously never to exactly match, but to look more in keeping!

sorry but that weathering will never be duplicated with concrete dyed blocks no matter who makes them

what you have on the existing driveway are the old tumbled style tegula blocks which stopped being manufactured around 2007/2008 and the new style what are distressed using vibrating hammers to chip away the top edge to give an aged appearance

they will never match in colour texture or surface finish to the old tumbled blocks

The best thing that you could have done is take up one of the old blocks and looked around for a block that looks the same.
