Mike, you had to see that line to believe it. No dust, no shite clinging to the stanchions, and so much room in the shed that the FLT driver was having to hunt down things to run over. I got a great bit of video of the de-moulding line that I might make into an animation for the main website next year. Poetry in motion.
I hope to get backthere some time next year, Gary, so perhaps we'll have a more of a chance to chat. I'll keep you informed.

I'll tell you what I wouldn't mind, Gary - those 'explanation boards' they had pinned up in both the CBP plant and in your wet-cast shop. I thought they were very well written and the photos were spot on, helped by the fact that the togfer that took them didn't have to say on the idiot's side of the safety fencing.
If you can ask marketing for the images and text, and let me have them in electronical format, it'd save packing up those bog boards. I reckon I can create a cracking 'How It's Made' page from those images.

That just makes me even more jealous.Tony McC wrote:No dust, no shite clinging to the stanchions, and so much room in the shed that the FLT driver was having to hunt down things to run over.
Still, we're currently putting up a new shed (nothing as grand, only 5,000 sq ft) for our new paving lines. The FL driver should still have no problems running things over, but I'm hoping to achieve the same levels of cleanliness.
Just have to convince the lads... end of every day, dusters and polish...
